Moraira is approx 1hr 15mins by
car from both Alicante & Valencia airports. The coast is stunning.
The main beaches of 'Playa la ampolla' & 'El
Portet' are
sandy and 'Cala Andrago' is probably the best in the area
for diving & snorkeling. The town centre has a fabulous marina, which
leads to the castle & promenade. Basic food
& culinary delights can be found in the restaurants. There are bars & shops
to suit every taste. Benidorm, theme parks and weekly markets are nearby.
This area offers all kinds of water sports and many other activities
including horse riding & tennis.
The backdrop to
the area is provided by the Serria
Mountain Range provides a scenic backdrop and the Altea
to Gata de Gorges take
you inland to the Jalon valley, Pinos & Alcalali and others.
